The Only Thing Worse

Than being stuck in traffic for three hours

is

later that night when you discover that your left arm, left side of the face and neck is completely scorched, leaving you with a very "phantom of the I-5" look.

how cute. All the bigwhigs at the meeting tomorrow are going to take me soooo seriously.

way to go breanna

on another note: a question for my bloggies:

If you could cancel forever a single thing you have to do every day (other than your job), what would it be?

I would cancel pooping. I hate it. Just find another way, mr. scientist.

i would cancel waiting for days for folks to update their blogs. no one specific, we're all guilty. but it drives me mad. and the more infrequently they post, the more i click, and the more maddening it becomes.

I second RM too. And I am talking about one person here. That would be GABE

My commute to work. I would rather be able to Apparate to/from work.

I was going to say getting around on my crutches, but that will end in 20 days anyway.

The fashion concience you should be listening to said...

I want the perfect outfit for the day taking in mind the activities and weather ahead would magically be ready, clean and ironed when I awoke. That would make like so much easier.

i would cancel setting my alarm at night and all the responsibility that comes with it because that meant i wouldn't have to wake up to it in the morning--i could just wake up when i felt like it and get my day started when i was ready.

Ha-May: you're a man after my own bowels....oh eww.

but i hate taking the time to "go." it's such a life waster. I mean, someone look on the internet and tell me how much of our lives is spent on the pot (that's what my gramma calls it and it makes me queesy. so does the word queesy. Even when i spell it incorrectly.)

I would x-out the necessity of brushing my teeth. Imagine perma-clean.....

....oooooh.......

Yeah, I was going to second the bathroom one, but perma-clean-teeth or not ever having to shower and get ready.... those are all up there.

Blow drying my hair. I've been growing it out and in the summer it's a pain in the ass b/c my apartment is so freakin' hot and in the winter it gets all static-y. It all just takes too much time.

Oh, I got another one - cutting my hair. I wish it would stay the same length unless I willed it to change with my mind or something.

Shaving sucks. And I'm with Amanda, brushing sucks. Especially when you like orange juice.

oh yeah, shaving . . . i would definitely cancel shaving! wait, i basically already have . . .

going to the bathroom for sure. some people claim they like it. i think its an annoying waste of time. shaving is ok since i dont have to do it often and i love how it feels after when you smooth on some nice pear lotion... and i like to brush my teeth too, but definantly am not fond of the potty. (or periods. hello, i know the girls agree with me on this one.)

Sigh.

pine away for someone I can never have.

I don't *have* to do it, but it's just become inevitable lately.

Or, I'd go with the shaving thing too.
